Job summary

CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. is seeking Intermodal Service Employees to safely perform tasks that move freight from origin to CSX Intermodal Terminal destinations across the network. The role involves securing equipment, yard and lift operations, and clerical duties, in outdoor, high-paced conditions.

Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen. The position offers hourly pay with overtime, and health/welfare benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in heavy industrial settings preferred.
• Experience operating heavy machinery preferred.
• Outdoor work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Securement, yard and lift operations, clerical and other duties as needed.
• Inspect and secure trailers, containers and intermodal equipment; assist lift operators.
• Operate hostlers and lift equipment; move and park chassis, trailers, and containers; inspect for readiness.
• Follow FRA and AAR regulations; maintain safety and productivity targets.
