Job summary

CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. (CSXIT) seeks an ISE to safely perform activities that place customer freight for movement on a train and support vehicle-handling services across the TDSI network. You will work in Annapolis Junction with a team, subject to drug and background checks, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus after 12 months.

Pay starts at $26.99/hour, with an upcoming raise to $28.99/hour. Minimum qualifications include age 18+ and a valid driver's license; union membership is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license under insurer's requirements.
• Membership in the bargaining unit is required.

Responsibilities

• Ascend and descend rail cars.
• Drive shuttle van to and from railcars and bays.
• Inspect and document equipment/vehicles for condition and readiness.
• Operate motor vehicles on/off railcars with limited clearances.
• Raise/lower bridge plates, decks, and ramps at heights.
• Open/close end doors on multi-level railcars weighing over 1,000 lbs.
