Job summary

Schneider National is seeking qualified intermodal drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. The role offers significant no-touch and drop-and-hook work across CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, and NY (excluding NYC and PA).

Compensation includes mileage and load pay, hourly pay on duty, orientation pay, PTO after 6 months, and an annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay, plus various benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 100 miles of Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 99% no-touch freight with 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY (excluding New York City and PA).
