Job summary

Schneider National is seeking truck drivers for intermodal hauling of containerized freight. You will operate company-owned equipment, secure cargo on chassis, and handle primarily no-touch loads with drop-and-hook efficiency.

Routes cover CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, and NY regionally, with restrictions avoiding NYC and PA. Compensation includes mileage and Load pay, plus on-duty hourly pay; sign-on bonuses of $10,000 for experienced drivers and $2,500 for newer drivers; orientation and time-off

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 100 miles of Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 99% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY but no New York City and PA.
