Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an Intermodal Driver to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis. 99% no-touch freight with 85% drop-and-hook; operate in MD, PA, VA and WV, loading and unloading at yards as needed.

The role offers hourly pay plus load pay, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers, $2,500 for new drivers, paid orientation, and time off after 6 months plus holiday pay. Annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Carlisle, PA.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 99% no-touch freight with 85% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within MD, PA, VA and WV.
