Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an intermodal driver in the Putnam, CT area. You will haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with 99% no-touch and 80% drop-and-hook, moving in and out of rail yards across CT, MA, ME, NH and RI.

The role offers hourly pay with load pay, paid orientation, PTO and holidays, and an annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is paid over the first year for experienced drivers, plus military and tuition benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsements are preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Worcester, MA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
