Job summary

Schneider National is seeking an Intermodal Driver to haul containerized freight using company-owned chassis. Most work is no-touch and drop-and-hook, with routes across several Northeast states, excluding New York City and Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 100 miles of Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Drive in and out of railyards within CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY with no NYC and PA.
• Operate with high no-touch and drop-and-hook freight when possible.
• Adhere to safety, hours-of-service and dispatch communications.
