Job summary

Schneider National is hiring an intermodal driver to haul containers secured to company-owned chassis. The role focuses on 99% no-touch freight with drop-and-hook operations in the Northeast, covering CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, and NY while avoiding New York City and Pennsylvania.

Drivers receive mileage and load pay, plus hourly pay on duty. Attractive sign-on bonuses exist for experienced and inexperienced drivers, plus orientation, PTO, and annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker and HazMat endorsements strongly preferred.
• Live within 100 miles of Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate intermodal drayage in the Northeast, excluding NYC and PA, including CT/MA/ME/NH/NJ/NY.
• Maintain high on-time performance with a 99% no-touch, drop-and-hook freight workflow.
