Hapag-Lloyd AG in Georgia seeks an Inland Delivery Specialist to enhance customer experiences for inland shipments and foster vendor partnerships. You will coordinate with operational vendors and communicate proactively with customers and authorities to ensure efficient, compliant movement of containers.

You will also manage cargo releases, customs steps, and daily cargo dwell tracking, working with the GSC, legal, and insurance teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2+ years in maritime industry or equivalent.
• Specialized knowledge of all principles of the Operations function.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong documentation and communication.
• Understands shipping terms, routings, schedules and general practices of various countries.

Responsabilités

• Handle customer inquiries and coordinate work order activities with operational vendors.
• Ensure timely, cost-efficient transport of containers by rail, truck, barge, and feeder vessel.
• Communicate with customers regarding inland issues via Salesforce and phone center.
• Facilitate cargo release, customs clearance in terminal systems, and related formalities.
• Arrange Mini Land Bridge transportation bookings and coordinate with the GSC team.
• Prepare cargo release and delivery orders; support customers with information and processes.
• Track dwelling containers daily and follow up with customers to avoid storage costs.
• Ensure compliant handling of return cargo and cost-effective intermodal routings.
• Monitor work orders for timely performance and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Research intermodal cargo claims and liaise with management as needed.
