Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for its intermodal division to haul automotive freight from railyards in IL, IN, MI and OH. Expect 100% no-touch, 90% drop-and-hook work and company-owned chassis. Earn mileage pay plus hourly pay while on duty, with a generous sign-on bonus paid over 12 months and paid orientation.

Eligible drivers should have a valid CDL-A, with tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred. Live within 50 miles of Gary, IN, and have at least 3 months of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Gary, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul automotive freight in containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate in 90% drop-and-hook and 100% no-touch freight environments.
• Drive in and out of railyards across IL, IN, MI and OH.
