Job summary

Schneider National is seeking Intermodal drivers to haul automotive freight in containers secured to company-owned chassis. This role features 100% no-touch freight with about 90% of it being drop-and-hook, operating in railyards across IL, IN, MI and OH.

The position offers a robust benefits package, a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months, paid orientation, PTO after 6 months with holiday pay, and an annual bonus up to 3% of gross pay, plus medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul automotive freight in containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate 100% no-touch freight, with about 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within IL, IN, MI and OH.
