Job summary

Schneider National in Cicero, IL is seeking an Intermodal Driver to haul automotive freight using company-owned chassis. This role involves 100% no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook operations across IL, IN, MI and OH.

Earn mileage plus hourly pay on duty, with a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months for experienced drivers, paid orientation and paid time off after six months. Eligible for up to 3% annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Gary, IN.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul automotive freight in containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Haul freight through IL, IN, MI and OH with railyards and drop-and-hook operations.
• Maintain safe driving records and comply with CDL requirements.
