Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch CDL Class A drivers for local and regional container transportation.
• Schedule container pickups and deliveries at Port Houston terminals, including Bayport and Barbours Cut.
• Monitor container availability, chassis assignments, and empty container returns.
• Coordinate port appointments, equipment releases, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain communication with drivers, customers, and terminal personnel.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates regarding delivery status.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, transportation delays, and operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, transportation documents, and daily reports.
• Support efficient fleet utilization and timely freight movement.

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating CDL drivers, managing container movements, scheduling port appointments, and overseeing daily dispatch operations in a fast-paced trucking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch CDL Class A drivers for local and regional container transportation.
• Schedule container pickups and deliveries at Port Houston terminals, including Bayport and Barbours Cut.
• Monitor container availability, chassis assignments, and empty container returns.
• Coordinate port appointments, equipment releases, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain communication with drivers, customers, and terminal personnel.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates regarding delivery status.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, transportation delays, and operational challenges.
