DIHO Consulting USA LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Intermodal Dispatcher to coordinate CDL Class A drivers, manage container movements, and schedule port appointments in a fast-paced trucking environment.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with Port Houston terminal procedures, and the ability to resolve scheduling conflicts while maintaining accurate dispatch records and timely freight movement.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating CDL drivers in intermodal trucking.
• Knowledge of Port Houston operations and terminal procedures.
• Familiar with container moves, chassis management, and drayage operations.
• Experience with TMS or dispatch software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch CDL Class A drivers for local and regional container transportation.
• Schedule container pickups and deliveries at Port Houston terminals, including Bayport and Barbours Cut.
• Monitor container availability, chassis assignments, and empty container returns.
• Coordinate port appointments, equipment releases, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain communication with drivers, customers, and terminal personnel.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates regarding delivery status.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, transportation delays, and operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, transportation documents, and daily reports.
• Support efficient fleet utilization and timely freight movement.
