Job summary

YMCA of Greater Brandywine in West Chester, PA is seeking a part-time Program/Youth Sports/Adult Assistant to plan, organize and deliver value-driven skill development programs for participants. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and positive motivation within a family-friendly YMCA environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age or older and able to develop and teach skills.
• Prior knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in the program area.
• Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs.
• Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire.

• Assists with specific activities, routines and/or games for all participants.
• Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program.
• Manage all equipment to ensure safety.
• Maintains a clean and risk-free environment.
• Ensures all children are picked up by a parent.
• Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures or referrals.
• Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
