Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a level 3 Fire Damage Specialist – Basic Level position focused on operational support for remediation projects. The role includes supervising a small crew, following BELFOR processes, and assisting advanced technicians on larger jobs, with required experience and travel as needed.

Qualified candidates will have prior BELFOR experience (or equivalent) and participation in multiple fire damage projects.

Qualifications

12 months BELFOR experience in Fire Damage Specialist – Basic Level or equivalent.
Direct involvement in at least 25 fire damage projects.
Ability to supervise unskilled labor on residential and light commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Follow instructions and work under supervision.
Coordinate a small crew of unskilled laborers and keep them on task toward a defined objective.
Familiarize with odor and smoke removal techniques and standard structure cleaning processes.
Safely remove debris without damaging unaffected areas, maintaining a clean, safe jobsite.
Assist in installation and maintenance of containments.
Answer simple project questions or defer to experienced team members.
Conduct daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and keep equipment in good condition.
Maintain attention to detail and safeguard others' property per BELFOR standards.
Demonstrate customer service understanding and work within time constraints.
Possibly work nights/weekends and travel periodically.
