Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking an Interline Specialist to manage our Interline Partner network, audit splits, and secure competitive rates for shipments. You will support the Customer Service team and own AR for Interline Partners, ensuring timely invoicing and accurate balance information.

The role requires detail-oriented problem solving, strong communication, and knowledge of the freight industry. This position offers potential remote work options with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• One year of Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; ability to make sound decisions.
• Extensive knowledge of transportation and freight industry practices.
• Willingness to learn new computer programs to assist with daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Daily revenue splitting and report generation for Interline Partners revenue.
• Maintain and manage open AR for Interline Partners.
• Assist Accounts Payable with interline payments and partner invoicing questions.
• Assist with customer calls and emails; respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with partner carriers to obtain approvals for additional services.
• Collaborate across departments to prevent misroutes and resolve issues.
• Ensure documents for invoicing are provided by partners and accurate.
• Review partner rates to ensure alignment with contracts.
• Other duties as assigned.
