Job summary

The Oak Park Public Library is seeking a Bibliographic Team Specialist to manage Interlibrary Loan (ILL) operations with libraries nationwide and across Illinois. You will serve as primary contact for patrons and partner libraries, troubleshoot requests, and maintain accurate ILL records using WorldShare and Symphony WorkFlows.

This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, IMRF pension, paid time off, holidays, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and library work experience.
• Experience providing customer or public service.
• Ability to learn library systems and technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Borrowing & Lending using OCLC WorldShare and SirsiDynix Symphony WorkFlows.
• Review requests, check materials, and communicate status to patrons.
• Process incoming ILL materials and prepare for pickup or routing.
• Update transactions in library systems and maintain records.
• Provide backup support for Collections Services workflows.
