Job summary
Kimmel & Associates seeks an Interiors Sales Manager to drive the growth of premium interior architectural panels across the United States and Canada. You will lead specification sales, cultivate architect and designer relationships, and expand the independent rep network from Atlanta-based leadership.
The role emphasizes entrepreneurial market development, presentations, and ongoing education of design professionals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of specification sales experience in interior building products or related field.
- Established relationships with architects and interior designers in commercial markets.
- Experience working with independent sales representatives or managing a multi-market representative network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the interior product line across the US and Canada.
- Serve as interiors expert, providing product knowledge and market insight to internal teams and external partners.
- Train and support independent sales representatives on product applications and selling strategies.
- Build relationships with architects and interior designers through presentations, CEU programs, and education events.
- Identify target firms and strategic projects to generate demand and secure specifications.
- Manage opportunities from bidding to project awards and orders.
- Coordinate with technical and logistics teams on samples, lead times, and product availability.
