Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer – Interior Stress to lead development and documentation of interior structural requirements and to validate designs using analytical methods and finite element models. You will coordinate with engineering groups to establish environments and loads, ensuring performance and compliance through the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes 9+ years of related experience with interiors, hands-on analysis, supplier oversight, and CFR Part 25

Qualifications

BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Materials)
9+ years related experience, or equivalent
5+ years stress analysis experience in interiors or related structures
3+ years supplier equipment experience
Prior experience with aircraft interiors/manufacturing/production systems

Responsibilities

Perform lead-level stress analysis responsibilities on Boeing 787 Interiors products.
Use classical hand analysis, FEA, and dynamic simulation tools for analysis.
Review and sign off supplier documents and reports.
Lead development and documentation of interior structural requirements.
Coordinate load cases, interfaces, and environment with other groups.
Guide design and verify structural integrity through product lifecycle.
Develop test plans, support tests, and report results.
