Job summary

Vivahhika Decor in Chennai seeks an Interior Designer to conceptualize and execute premium event and interior spaces, with a strong design sense and visualization skills.

You will prepare 2D drawings and 3D visualizations, coordinate with vendors and site engineers, and present ideas to clients; travel for destination projects may be required.

Bachelor’s or diploma in interior design or architecture is required; proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion or Enscape, and Photoshop is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in interior design or architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar visualization software.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of materials, lighting, space planning, and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D visualizations.
• Create layouts, elevations, and execution drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors, production teams, and site engineers.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and décor elements.
• Attend client meetings and present design ideas confidently.
• Visit project sites for measurements and execution support.
• Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically strong, and execution friendly.
• Meet project deadlines while handling multiple projects.

Role Overview
