Job description

Project Focus: Luxury Residential Interior Design - technically focused design

Working Style: In-office

We’re partnered with a highly regarded residential interior design studio for their next Interior Designer who brings both technical precision and a collaborative mindset to their work.

This is a studio where design is deeply shared, ideas flow freely, collaboration is second nature, and every project is approached as a collective effort. Working closely with the Principals, you’ll help translate creative vision into highly detailed, well-executed interiors, playing a critical role in shaping homes that are both thoughtful and technically refined.

The right person for this role is detail-driven, proactive, and highly organized, with a natural ability to anticipate needs, solve problems early, and communicate clearly across teams. You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being deeply involved in the how behind the design, and takes pride in ensuring every element is resolved with intention.

The Role:

As the Interior Designer, you are working directly with the Principals. You will support and help drive the technical execution of high-end residential projects, ensuring that each design concept is carried through with clarity, accuracy, and consistency. This role is highly collaborative at its core. You’ll partner closely with internal team members, architects, contractors, and vendors, contributing to an environment built on trust, respect, and shared accountability. At the same time, you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work, managing multiple moving pieces while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Success in this role comes from a balance of technical strength and team-oriented thinking; someone who can confidently develop and coordinate drawings, specifications, and selections, while also remaining adaptable, solution-oriented, and open in their communication. Whether working through complex detailing, navigating site conditions, or supporting client presentations, you approach each task with focus, follow-through, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of residential interior design experience, ideally within high-end or custom projects

  • Degree in Interior Design or a related field

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop (3D/rendering skills are a plus), Google Workspace/Drive, and Microsoft Suite (Excel, etc.)

  • Deep understanding of materials, finishes, construction detailing, and documentation standards

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

  • Experience supporting or supervising junior team members is a plus
