Role Description

The 2D Interior Designer will be responsible for developing detailed 2D layouts and drawings for corporate office interiors, including space planning, furniture layouts, and reflected ceiling plans. The role involves collaborating with project managers, architects, and clients to translate concepts and requirements into precise design documentation that guides fit-out and execution. Day-to-day tasks include preparing CAD drawings, updating plans based on client feedback, coordinating with engineering teams for civil, electrical, and MEP requirements, and ensuring design accuracy and alignment with project standards. The designer will also assist in maintaining project documentation, supporting design presentations, and working closely with the execution team to resolve on-site design queries. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Delhi, OH.

Qualifications

• Strong 2D design and drafting skills, including proficiency in CAD or similar design software for interior layouts and detailed drawings.


• Experience with space planning for corporate offices, including furniture layouts and functional circulation planning.


• Knowledge of interior fit-out processes, including coordination with civil, electrical, and MEP teams for accurate technical detailing.


• Ability to interpret client requirements, prepare clear design documentation, and support project managers with drawing updates and revisions.


• Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in corporate or commercial interiors is preferred.


• Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.


• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.


• Familiarity with 3D design tools and visualization techniques is an advantage, along with an understanding of custom furniture and joinery detailing.
