Ethan Allen is seeking a Design Consultant in the Estero area to create personalized design solutions for clients in the design center, remotely, or in customers’ homes. This role emphasizes relationship-based selling, social media promotion, and achieving sales benchmarks through a flexible approach.

The position involves design work, customer service, and collaboration with the team while meeting monthly sales goals and participating in corporate programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a design-related field with design experience
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques
• Working knowledge of online sales and design tools
• Good listening and written communication skills
• Experience using social media and grass-roots marketing to develop a book of business
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency with 3-D design tools is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer preferences and budget
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services
• Greet customers, obtain appointments, and conduct in-home consultations
• Use social media to develop and grow the business
• Educate customers about free design services and options
• Stay current on design trends and coordinate with the team
• Enter orders using the retail POS system
• Collaborate with leadership to develop business and grass roots marketing plans
