Job summary

Living Spaces is seeking an in-store Interior Design Sales Associate in Fresno to assist guests with design-focused recommendations and selling strategies. You will present room concepts, coordinate fabrics, furniture, and accessories, and stay current on merchandise and design trends.

The role requires an interior design degree or certificate, 1–2 years in a customer-facing retail setting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Interior design degree or certificate required.
• 1–2 years in customer service, retail, or furniture store experience preferred.
• Experience with design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales proficiency.
• Determine guests’ goals and requirements of their design project.
• Provide relevant design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, tables, and accessories.
• Maintain current knowledge of merchandise features and availability.
• Process transactions in the Point of Sale system.
• Complete required training and participate in ongoing learning.
• Support store team to delight guests and meet revenue targets.
• Ensure store is Grand Opening ready with daily tasks and style guides.
• Ability to work weekends and most holidays in a fast-paced environment.
