Job summary

Living Spaces is hiring for an in-store Sales Designer role in Fremont, CA. You will engage guests, analyze design requests, and present customized room designs with sample fabrics and furniture.

The role emphasizes Interior Design knowledge and customer service, using the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model. You will maintain product knowledge, process transactions at the POS, and complete required training.

Qualifications

• AA or AS in interior design or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in customer service, retail, or furniture store.
• Equivalent education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests and execute sales through the Guest Engagement Model.
• Determine guests' design goals and requirements for their project.
• Provide design advice, product knowledge, and recommendations.
• Present customized room designs with fabrics, furniture, and accessories.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of merchandise, features, and availability.
• Master product knowledge and brand design inspiration.
• Process customer transactions in the POS system.
• Complete required training within the expected timeframe.
• Support store team to delight guests and hit revenue targets.
• Keep store ready for Grand Opening with daily tasks and style guides.
• Ability to work weekends and most holidays; work in a fast-paced environment.
