Job summary

QTS Data Centers in Dallas, TX seeks an Interior Design/Project Manager to lead interior design and construction initiatives across multiple campuses, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and alignment with the standardized interiors program.

You will coordinate with design, construction, and FF&E consultants, write scopes, review invoices, and guide junior staff while traveling up to 50% to support projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of intern or professional experience in commercial construction/interior design practices and procedures.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office suite, Power Point specifically Smartsheet for tracking and producing project updates to executive level.
• Revit and AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-phased interior start-up and upgrade projects on several campuses to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with design, construction, FF&E consultants and vendors to implement standardized interiors program.
• Write scopes of work and sketches for design, construction, furniture, AV, and services for procurement and cost estimates.
• Track installation verification, punch walks, FF&E activities and close-out punch lists; monitor issues.
• Provide regular project updates suitable for executive reviews and coordinate with stakeholders on submittals.
