Job summary

The Crowd in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to join our LA team. You will lead projects from early design through construction, coordinating clients, designers, consultants and technical teams to deliver high-quality commercial interiors.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional interior design experience, ideally in workplace/commercial interiors.
• Proven experience managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships and manage stakeholders.
• Excellent coordination across design, technical delivery and consultants.
• Proficiency with documentation, detailing and construction processes (Revit).

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial interiors projects from early design through documentation and construction.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, fees, staffing and overall delivery.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and contractors as primary point of contact.
• Lead and mentor project teams across multiple disciplines.
• Oversee documentation, coordination, QA/QC and construction administration.

A leading architecture and design firm is looking for an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to join its Los Angeles team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the center of a project, bringing together clients, designers, consultants and technical teams to deliver high-quality commercial interiors. You’ll take ownership of projects from early design through construction, working across a varied portfolio for established national and international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial interiors projects from early design and planning through documentation and construction
• Manage project schedules, budgets, fees, staffing and overall project delivery
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors and act as a trusted point of contact throughout the project
• Lead and mentor project teams, coordinating design and technical delivery across multiple disciplines
• Oversee documentation, consultant coordination, QA/QC and construction administration while supporting presentations and client development

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Extensive professional interior design experience, ideally within workplace or commercial interiors
• Proven experience managing complex projects, client relationships and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong technical knowledge across documentation, detailing, coordination and construction, with proficiency in Revit
• A strong design eye and an understanding of space planning, materials, finishes and FF&E
• Confident, collaborative communicator who enjoys leading teams and taking ownership of projects
