Design Assistant - Luxury Interior Design Firm (Los Angeles)

OHARA DAVIES-GAETANO INTERIORS, a high-end residential design firm, seeks a Design Assistant with 1-3 years of experience in a design firm to collaborate with our Project Managers and Designers on luxury residential interior projects.

UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE PROJECT TEAM DESIGNER AND PROJECT MANAGER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

1. Preparing client presentations (PowerPoint, Miro, Photoshop), space planning, printing, pricing, and maintaining organization of designer selections and presentation formats.
2. Following up with vendors regarding orders and lead times.
3. Coordinating and filing CFAs and RMAs.
4. Managing project tasks alongside designers and project managers.
5. Communicating with vendors and service providers.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
2. AutoCAD proficiency (REQUIRED).
3. Experience with Studio Designer and/or Photoshop (a plus).
4. Excellent people management skills and a team player attitude.
5. Enthusiastic, positive, and proactive attitude.
6. Space planning experience.
7. Strong oral, written, and organizational skills.
8. Ability to hand sketch.
9. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
