Job summary

Ellis Early Learning, a Boston-based nonprofit, is seeking an Interim Social Worker to support 10 classrooms from October through February. You will work with the Family Engagement Team and collaborate with DCF and community partners to ensure continuity of services for children and families.

Required are a MSW and MA LCSW (or in progress), experience in trauma-informed care, and strong communication skills to engage diverse, low-income families.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts LCSW required or in progress.
• Experience with trauma-informed care in childcare or family centers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DCF and adoption social workers on progress and supports.
• Support reauthorization of childcare vouchers with enrollment partners.
• Connect families with therapeutic and community resources.
• Supervise and mentor social work interns when applicable.
• Provide classroom-based social work support and crisis intervention.
