Interim Senior Finance Project Manager

Our client, a global software company, is seeking an Interim Senior Finance Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility initiatives across the Finance organization.

This role is fully remote and has an anticipated duration of approximately 8 months, with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end program management for strategic Finance initiatives, including planning, governance, risk management, and executive reporting
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Legal, HR, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to define requirements, align milestones, and drive execution across multiple workstreams
• Develop and manage program roadmaps, governance structures, decision logs, issue tracking, and risk mitigation plans
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving financial operations, compliance, systems, reporting, and process transformation
• Assess dependencies across people, processes, technology, and regulatory requirements to proactively identify risks and opportunities
• Prepare executive-level communications, presentations, and status updates for senior leadership
• Establish stakeholder communication cadences and facilitate alignment across globally distributed teams
• Lead change-management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, controls, systems, and operating models
• Drive program execution in environments with multiple competing priorities and evolving business requirements

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in strategic program management, project management, finance transformation, operations, corporate development, or a related field
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within global or multinational organizations
• Strong understanding of finance operations, including accounting, tax, payroll, compliance, reporting, and finance systems
• Proven executive presence with exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
• Demonstrated expertise in program governance, roadmap development, risk management, dependency tracking, and change management
