The position supports growth, internal controls, and scalable financial infrastructure, with a 3-month initial duration and potential extension or conversion to full-time. CPA preferred and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with responsibility growth.
• Experience with government contracts and regulated contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee government contracts, invoicing, compliance, and contract administration.
• Develop and monitor indirect cost structures and related analyses.
• Maintain records to satisfy regulatory requirements.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll reconciliations, and billing processes.
• Manage contract and milestone-based invoicing for accuracy and timeliness.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting SOPs.
• Identify process improvements and partner with stakeholders for insights.
