The Senior Manager, Accounting and FP&A will strengthen financial planning, reporting, and accounting operations for a mission-driven community foundation in Austin, TX. Working with the CFO, Controller, and department leaders, you will develop financial models, oversee budgets and forecasts, and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with Excel proficiency.
• GAAP, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and presenting financial insights.
• Collaborative, service-oriented approach across departments.
• CPA/CMA and nonprofit or fund accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting with rolling 12-month and multi-year plans.
• Build financial models to assess scenarios and cost analysis.
• Prepare monthly statements and ad hoc financial reports.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounting and tax filings; support auditors.
• Maintain Foundant CSuite familiarity to support operations.
