Australia-Employment is seeking a Senior Accountant in Austin, TX, for an on-site, permanent role. You will manage journal entries, AP/AR, and financial reporting to support growth and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statements.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.

Responsibilities

Preparing and posting complex journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.
Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, verifying and reconciling invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Producing detailed financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
Coordinating with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit processes.
