Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a culinary instructor.
• 3-4 years of kitchen management experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor and retain a high-performing team.
• Lead, coach, and inspire associates to exceed performance expectations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans.
• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and deliver memorable cooking classes.
• Increase foot traffic through classes and private events.
• Ensure safe food handling and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of products and training resources.
• Achieve sales goals through exceptional classes and customer experiences.
