Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL seeks a nursing leader to oversee interim leadership for the Premier Staffing team. You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead staffing, and drive policy implementation to maintain high-quality patient care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure with BLS, plus 3+ years in nursing leadership. Expect day shift, 40 hours weekly, and a focus on budget stewardship and staff development.

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in leadership
• Florida RN license or Compact License required

Gross Rate up to $4,853 per week

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for their assigned team.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned team. Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services.
• Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve and monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required

Additional Preferences:

• 3-5 years in OR Nursing leadership
• Florida RN or Compact License needed
