Job summary

ESL Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Memory Care Specialist to provide interim leadership during vacancies and transitions. You will assess operations, stabilize performance, and ensure adherence to Memory Care philosophy, standards, and processes.

You will partner with community and divisional leaders to strengthen resident care, family communication, and regulatory compliance while guiding a smooth transition to permanent leadership.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a Memory Care or similar setting.
• Strong communication with families, residents, and staff.
• Knowledge of dementia care and person-centered strategies.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary day-to-day leadership during vacancies or transitions.
• Assess resident care, staffing, scheduling, and environment; identify risks.
• Develop action plans with leadership and provide progress updates.
• Stabilize operations and prepare for permanent leadership transition.
• Lead training and onboarding, reinforce Memory Care standards.
• Support family communication and resident experience improvements.
• Collaborate with health/wellness and care partners on care planning.
