Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Memory Care Support Specialist to lead and implement memory care programs with a person-centered approach. You will train staff, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and support residents and families in a compassionate environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with departments, adherence to CARE values, and ongoing staff development to ensure excellence in senior care across Indiana facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or in a human services field is required.
• Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Previous social services experience preferred.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manages and implements the programs, philosophies and standards for the Memory Care Center.
• Train, observe and redirect staff through initial education and one-on-one education of the Alzheimer disease process.
• Engage empathetically with residents and families and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Promote collaboration among departments, professionals, consultants and regulatory agencies.
