Job summary

RegalCare at Courtyard in Medford, MA is seeking an Interim Human Resources and Payroll Director to guide center leadership through talent acquisition, onboarding, and payroll practices.

You will develop talent management plans, support employee engagement and retention, ensure compliance with pay policies and employment laws, and collaborate with center leaders to foster a supportive work environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HR and payroll in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance, benefits administration, and employment laws.
• Ability to develop and implement talent management and onboarding plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidential employee information with strict privacy.
• Manages talent acquisition from sourcing to onboarding, coordinating with Recruiting.
• Ensures background checks, drug tests, and pre-employment paperwork are completed.
• Oversees the Welcoming Program and time clock procedures for new employees.
• Communicates benefits information and directs employees to self-service options.
• Establishes and monitors performance evaluations, coaching managers on improvement.
• Ensures compliance with payroll policies and applicable laws.
• Manages FMLA processes and ADA-related conversations.
• Maintains employee records and health/documentation in policy compliance.
