Interim Finance M&A Integration Manager or Sr. Manager

Our client, a high-growth technology company, is seeking an Interim Finance M&A Integration Manager or Senior Manager to support a growing portfolio of acquisitions and lead post-close integration activities.

This role is hybrid, with in-office attendance expected three days per week in San Francisco, CA. This role has an initial duration of approximately six months.

Responsibilities:

• Lead finance integration activities across multiple acquisitions from transaction signing through post-close execution
• Develop scalable integration frameworks, playbooks, project plans, trackers, and governance processes
• Translate transaction requirements and integration strategies into actionable timelines, milestones, dependencies, and workstreams
• Coordinate integration readiness across Accounting, Treasury, Payroll, Tax, Procurement, Equity, and other finance functions
• Manage initial and long-term post-close activities to support successful financial and operational transitions
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, establish priorities, track deliverables, and maintain stakeholder accountability
• Coordinate entity setup, banking transitions, payroll onboarding, financial data transfers, and operational cutovers
• Identify integration risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve project roadblocks
• Support financial diligence and integration activities involving historical financial information, revenue, tax, equity, systems, and operational readiness
• Drive process improvements and ensure timely execution of systems migrations, reporting requirements, controls, and accounting processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or comparable certification preferred
• 8+ years of experience in M&A integration, transaction execution, finance transformation, program management, or related finance operations
• Demonstrated experience leading post-close finance integration workstreams for complex acquisitions
• Strong project management and stakeholder leadership skills, including experience coordinating multiple concurrent initiatives
• Experience with finance systems migrations, ERP implementations, or finance operating model transformations
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify risks, influence senior stakeholders, and drive execution in a rapidly changing environment
