Job summary

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in finance or finance systems.

  • 3+ years leading Finance M&A integrations, including due diligence support, Day1 planning, and post‑close integration.
  • CPA or any professional finance accreditation is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Job description

Finance M&A Integration Manager

This is a hybrid position that can be based in either Los Angeles or Los Gatos and offers the flexibility to work remotely part-time. Occasional travel may be required to other office locations, including internationally.

Responsibilities
  • Program Management Lead finance integration workstreams for M&A transactions—spanning Core Finance, Tax, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Product & Technology—from due diligence through Day1 and Day100 milestones, including integration playbook refinement, milestone tracking, and synergy realization reporting.
  • Ensure critical controls, processes, and reporting capabilities are operational at close.
  • Maintain a modular Finance Integration Playbook, including diligence checklists, Day1 readiness plans, 30/60/90/100‑day task libraries, standard deal playbook templates, communications plan approaches, Employee Day1 plans, and systems migration frameworks, updated continuously with learnings from each deal.
  • Proactively manage risks and anticipate potential issues that pose a threat to achieving project goals; propose and implement issue‑ or risk‑mitigating strategies.
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Provide stakeholders with project decisions and milestone tracking.
  • Ensure executive sponsors are informed via status updates and appropriate escalations.
  • Collaborate with Finance business leads, the Integration Management Office (IMO), Talent, Technology, Legal, Corporate Development, and other cross‑functional deal teams to deliver integration solutions that meet or exceed business stakeholders' needs.
  • Serve as the Finance point of contact within the broader deal IMO structure, representing finance workstream status, risks, and dependencies in integration steering committee updates.
  • Liaise with acquired Finance teams during transition, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption to close cycles and business operations.
  • Contribute to change management for finance process and system changes resulting from integrations, including chart of accounts harmonization, legal entity consolidation, ERP/tool migrations, etc.
  • Partner with the integration core team to develop change‑management plans for key cross‑functional milestones, including Employee Day1, vendor analysis, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (business or finance preferred).
  • 7+ years in finance or finance systems, with 5+ years finance project or program management.
  • 3+ years leading Finance M&A integrations, including due diligence support, Day1 planning, and post‑close integration.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and drive alignment across Legal, Talent, Technology, and IMO stakeholders who may have competing timelines, incentives, or risk tolerances.
  • Curiosity about and comfort with learning new tools and technologies, including AI‑assisted solutions, and ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements.
  • Comfort operating under time pressure and confidentiality constraints typical of deal environments.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to synthesize complex, fast‑moving integration status into clear, decision‑ready updates for senior leadership and deal sponsors.
  • Adaptability and sound judgment when processes are being defined in real time.
  • CPA or any professional finance accreditation is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
Compensation
  • Annual salary only; no bonuses.
  • Employees choose the portion of compensation taken as salary versus stock options each year.
  • Range: $215,000.00 – $340,000.00.
