Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks an experienced finance professional to lead advisory engagements for PE-backed portfolio companies, bridging historical accounting data with forward-looking operations. The role blends FP&A, accounting stabilization, and systems transformation.

The candidate will act as interim VP of Finance or Director of FP&A during critical transitions, with focus on scalable ERP migrations, month-end acceleration, and effective C-suite communication.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger mechanics, and the accounting close process.
• Experience leading or participating in finance systems implementations, data migrations, or reporting automation.
• Advanced financial modeling capabilities in Excel and ability to manipulate large datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to C-suite executives and PE sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Act as interim finance leader for PE-backed portfolio companies post-acquisition or carve-out.
• Design and implement driver-based models, rolling forecasts, and annual plans.
• Develop automated reporting packages and KPI dashboards for boards and sponsors.
