Glass Meadows Inc. is seeking a strategic Interim Controller/Director of Finance to lead finance and accounting during a growth phase. The role partners with executives across cultivation, manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution, overseeing close processes, cost accounting, FP&A, and reporting.

The position is based in New Jersey with flexible office location, requiring regular in-person collaboration with operations teams. Cannabis/regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Experience as Controller, Director of Finance, or similar in manufacturing/CPG environment.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with financial modeling and data analysis.
• Proven ability to improve accounting processes and reporting capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate reporting.
• Oversee general accounting, reconciliations, internal controls, and policy compliance.
• Ensure integrity of financial statements and management reporting.
• Support CFO with financial strategy, analysis, and executive reporting.
• Manage inventory valuation, BOMs, WIP, and COGS; drive cost visibility and efficiency.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; maintain KPI dashboards.
