Job summary

Haverhill Public Schools is seeking an Early College Coordinator (Interim) at Haverhill High School in Massachusetts. The role reports to the School Counseling supervision and collaborates with the EC team and district leadership to implement the Early College program.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, college visits, budgets, and data reporting (DESE/SIMS), with focus on student recruitment, engagement, and postsecondary planning. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 yearly.

Qualifications

• Experience working with high school students in a school setting.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred; counseling experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Timely completion of tasks, especially DESE and SIMS data collection & reporting.
• Familiarity with Early College – mission and programming.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Bilingual and bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Early College meetings and coordinate with EC Team, School Counseling Team, coaches, DESE, NECC, and higher education partners.
• Coordinate and implement the Postsecondary Expo (College & Career Fair) at HHS.
• Support in-school college representative visits and coordinate college visits during the school year and summer programming.
• Assist with mid-year and end-of-year reports for DESE.
• Manage SIMS data collection and reporting throughout the school year.
• Coordinate, draft and oversee Early College budgets and related grants.
• Recruit and retain Early College students, including First Year Seminar and collaboration with HP3.
• Monitor student behavior and academics; conduct parent/student meetings as needed.
• Coordinate with transportation and business office for Early College expenses.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Master's degree preferred

Counseling experience preferred

Experience with high school students
