Job summary

HAVERHILL PUBLIC SCHOOLS in Haverhill, MA seeks an Early Education and Care Career Specialist (EEC) for a 10-month assignment. The role reports directly to the CTE Supervisor and follows a M-F schedule from 7:15 to 2:15, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary is $40,000 per year. Primary duties include assisting with EEC curriculum planning, implementing supports for IEP/504/ML, coordinating practicums and internships, and helping students build workplace readiness skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preference for Early Education and Care Certification.
• Experience with children in a school or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and delivery of the 9–12 CTE EEC curriculum.
• Assist with IEP/504/ML accommodations to support learning.
• Coordinate practicums, field trips, and internship opportunities.
• Support students with employability skills and career planning.
• Drive students to WBL opportunities using a 12-person van.
• Collaborate with the team to address behavior and classroom effort.
• Follow district policies and directives from the Superintendent or designee.
