Interim Director of Mission Control

The Position

• An Interim Director of Mission Control is needed to oversee patient placement, transfer coordination, behavioral health coordination, administrative on-call support, and related operational functions.
• The Interim Director will stabilize department operations while maintaining effective patient flow, placement, transfers, and throughput across a complex healthcare environment.
• Provide strategic oversight across the Transfer Center, Patient Placement, Behavioral Health Coordination, program administration, and system analytics functions, ensuring strong coordination and consistent operational performance.
• Partner closely with nursing, Emergency Department, bed management, staffing, medical staff, and other operational leaders to identify barriers to patient flow and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
• Foster a collaborative and engaged environment while strengthening processes, accountability, communication, and staffing strategies to keep Mission Control moving forward through a period of transition.
• Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $180,000 to $190,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
