Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System within Universal Health Services in Memphis seeks a seasoned Social Services leader to oversee the outpatient department and ensure high-quality care. You will supervise licensed and non-licensed clinical therapists and coordinate with continuum of care services.

Responsibilities include program development, collaboration with community resources, and engagement in regional public mental health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field; licensure required.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and 2 years in management; inpatient/outpatient experience.
• Licensure: TN LCSW preferred; LPC preferred.
• Graduate student supervision experience preferred; continuum of care experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outpatient and social services department operations.
• Ensure quality of social services via policies, procedures, PI, and supervision of therapists.
• Serve as clinical liaison with continuum of care services.
• Develop programs for specialized patient populations in outpatient and continuum of care.
• Collaborate with community resources, outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers, and family members.
• Participate in county and regional meetings of public mental health providers.
• Assess patient needs using growth and development principles and provide clinical treatment and care.
