Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis, TN, seeks a Clinical Program Manager to coordinate patient care and lead program development in a large behavioral health hospital. The role includes admissions, psychosocial assessments, and both individual and group therapies within a comprehensive treatment team.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and licensure, plus experience with psychiatric inpatient populations.

• Prior experience with psychiatric mental health populations, inpatient preferred.
• TN LCSW, LPC, LP licensure required.
• Knowledge of management, supervision, patient case management, discharge planning, group leadership, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.

• Develop programs and business strategy; manage personnel and admissions.

• Participate in treatment team planning, discharge planning and case management.
• Conduct utilization review, crisis intervention and liaison with referral sources and other hospital departments.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Program Manager provides coordination and care of patients in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health. The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for program development, business strategy and development, personnel management activities, admissions, psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, discharge planning/case management service, utilization review, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling, or Social Services related field required, licensure required.

Experience: Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.

Licensure/Certification: TN LCSW, LPC, LP required.

Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of management, supervision, patient case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.
