Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial close and financial statement preparation.
• Strong internal controls development and SOX compliance experience.
• Public company accounting experience required.
• Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory and cost accounting.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Previous Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar senior accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a hands‑on capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal controls to support SOX compliance and IPO readiness.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
• Improve accounting processes, workflows, and financial reporting procedures.
• Establish documentation for internal controls and accounting policies.
• Utilize NetSuite to enhance financial close and accounting operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and advisors on compliance matters.
• Evaluate manufacturing accounting processes, including inventory, WIP, COGS, and cost accounting.
• Collaborate with accounting staff to implement process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
