Job summary

Korn Ferry is partnering with a private-equity-backed manufacturing organization to secure an experienced Interim Controller who will strengthen controllership and drive operational finance improvements. This hands-on finance leader reports to the CFO and oversees multi-entity accounting across U.S.

and Mexico. The role requires leadership of accounting teams, collaboration with operations and executive leadership, and a focus on faster closing cycles and stronger controls.

Qualifications

• Extensive controllership and accounting leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting multi-site or multi-entity manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, manufacturing cost accounting and standard costing.
• Proven experience improving monthly close processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations as an extension of the CFO.
• Own and improve monthly, quarterly and year-end close cycles.
• Move organization toward a 10–15 day monthly close cadence.
• Oversee accounting across U.S. and Mexico entities and intercompany reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, reconciliations and financial governance.
